After that, they had the time of silence and a young genocide survivor who is a singer now sang a song of the genocide. He gave a testimony as well.

Vincent Ntaganira, who was born in this village Ruhanga and now is working for the government talked about what genocide is, what genocide denial is, and what we can do to restore and maintain harmony.
According to him, in Greek “geno” means ethnicity, and “cide” means killing. Therefore, he emphasized that the genocide was a genocide against Tutsi.

He requested survivors to be strong and encourage young people to learn about the history.
